I'm going to be working in the project space in White Tree Studios on Friday and Saturday. Pop in to say hello and watch the space be transformed.
"The festival brings together a broad spectrum of work from local and regional artists including visual art, live art, video projection, interventions and music all in a lively two day programme. Audiences will also have the opportunity to look around artist’s studios with White Tree Studios and Eagle Works opening their doors during the weekend."

life and other art 2011
We had the most wonderful weekend, the weather was great, the music was brilliant - fantastic to have a variety of performers over the two days, we'll do it again next year! Take a look at the Shed Montage photo on the sheds page gallery... Brilliant- thanks Bernard!
We were complemented on the quality of the art work, the curating, the organisation, the yumminess of the cakes (so much so I'm thinking of adding a recipes page to this site)
So please look out for next year's event... watch this space!

The Shed will be appearing again, this time with a range of performances over the two days, those of you who enjoyed Dan Whitehouse's set will be pleased to hear he'll be back - this time on Sunday afternoon.

A few quilts, a few bits and pieces for sale and the ubiquitous shed will be there too, indoors for a change!
Krasif Aid will be showcasing their jewellery and other crafts and raising awareness and funds for the wonderful work they do.
We had a wonderful evening, plenty of funds were raised for this very worthy cause. The shed looked great, Dan and Rogue States were amazing, and Brian and Chris were eloquent when talking about their cause. Please take a few minutes to look at their website.

life and other art 2010
We had a fantastic day! We felt the art work was of a very high standard across the board this year, many visitors commenting that it was better than the average "amateur" art show, so thanks everyone!
Tea and cakes went down a treat as usual, thanks to everyone who baked and spent the day keeping the kettle boiling!
The shed looked great in the courtyard, bright and summery when the sun shone between a couple of light showers. Dan and June played beautifully to an appreciative audience who joined in more enthusiastically after a glass or two of Pimm's. The shed exceeded expectations and the music sounded wonderful - sparking lots of ideas for the future - watch this space!
Photos are on the sheds page, followed soon hopefully by a bit of video!
