When I get the urge to embroider, it usually is something intricate, brightly coloured, with ridiculous amounts of French knots. I get inspiration from natural sources - the garden, the countryside, and more recently the allotments where I'm covering sheds. At the moment I'm thinking about purple sprouting broccoli. More French knots!
